Questions from buyers abroad

Are the title and survey plan in order?

Yes. The title and survey plan are up to date. We send a copy of the survey plan on request, and your attorney can check ownership and any liens at Costa Rica's National Registry before you buy.

Does the property have water, electricity and internet?

Water and electricity are available on the property, and internet service is available. Ask us for the current options.

Can a foreigner buy property in Costa Rica?

Yes. Foreigners can own titled property with the same rights as Costa Ricans. A local attorney should verify the title and survey plan of any property before you buy. This is general information, not legal advice.

How does a purchase usually work?

Typically you agree on a price, sign a purchase promise with a deposit, your attorney reviews the title, and the sale is closed before a notary, often with an escrow or the attorney holding the funds. Your attorney will confirm the exact steps.

Can I review everything before traveling?

Yes. We send a copy of the survey plan by WhatsApp and answer your questions before you plan a visit. Your attorney can check ownership at the National Registry. You can visit the property or send your attorney.

Is it rented now?

No. The cabins are not rented at the moment, so there is no booking history to share.

How it works

  1. Message us on WhatsApp.
  2. We send the survey plan, and your attorney checks the title.
  3. You visit, or send your attorney.
  4. You make an offer and close with your attorney.
